Success stories come in all varieties. The following is Judith Pothier's story, in her own words:

If you are a person with mobility disabilities or an outdoor enthusiast, Pothier Innovations is the company for you. I have invented a product that will protect the user from the wet and cold weather while enjoying outside activities. The added bonus of this product is that it is not only comfortable, but very versatile. Versatility is one of the first things that I learned to envision as I focused on target groups for my invention.

Being a person with multiple disabilities, I have found that traditional classes were extremely challenging and energy draining. Like anything else in the life of a person with disabilities, adaptability must be a part of my new endeavor. LMB's willingness to do one-on-one participant training was just the adaptive tool I needed to move forward. It is my opinion that LMB is definitely the place for adaptive entrepreneurial opportunities for people with disabilities.

Recently, I completed the IDA program, using the funds to purchase raw materials and pay for the manufacturing of my products. This allowed me to have finished inventory before the wet and cold season or football games begin. I consider this program to be a crucial ingredient towards the success of my business.
