Before you start spending money or taking out loans for your business, we encourage you to think about whether you want to go into business and to try to determine who will be willingly to pay for your products or services.

LMB has met a number of folks who are deep in debt after spending large sums of money on developing a business with no clear idea of their own personal or business goals or whether the business will likely succeed.

LMB has a business feasibility assessment form in a Word document available for download. Depending upon your level of knowledge and experience, the form will take anywhere from 5 hours to 20 hours to complete. If you are an LMB client that is covered by our grants (Eugene residents are not covered), you are welcome to transmit the completed document to LMB and meet with one of our counselors. If you are not an LMB client covered by a grant, our rate is $30 per hour to review the assessment form.
