Success stories come in all varieties. The following is Craig Lasha's story, in his own words:
"I have been involved with LCC business programs and LMB for more than 2 years. I have attended many classes there and have been afforded many opportunities to learn and study ways to start and maintain my own business: Lasha Art.
After almost three years, I met my financial goal and was awarded the funds to start my own business. I am a 2-dimensional artist and because of this whole program, I was able to purchase a 15" Apple MAC computer, a scanner, a printer, a digital camera to photograph and transfer my images to CDs, and several related software programs. Also, I was able to buy, for the first time in many years, really good paints, i.e. acrylics, watercolors, etc. and the best paint brushes I've had to work with for many years.
I am deeply grateful to Lane MicroBusiness, CASA of Oregon and all of the staff, instructors, and support personnel that have "walked me through" and had the patience to get through the program. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Whatever successes I'm enjoying and will continue to have in the business of selling my work could not have been accomplished without this program and these people."
