Feasibility of your start-up business: 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesdays, July 8th - August 12th, LCC Business Development Center, Eugene.
This six week class will provide you with the necessary tools to analyze your business idea.
Payroll, payroll taxes, and reports: 1:00 – 5:00 pm, Monday, July 14th, LCC Business Development Center, Eugene. This four hour hands-on workshop will show you how to generate payroll for employees, how to report and pay payroll taxes using the federal and state electronic web sites, and filing quarterly 941 and annual 940 and W-2 statements. Even if you are a single person business, this class will be of interest to you covering the basics of how to report and pay payroll taxes just for yourself.
Youth Entrepreneur Workshop: 8:00 am- 4:00 pm, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 8th and 9th. Best Western Hotel, Burns. This workshop is directed towards helping young people start and build businesses in Harney County.
QuickBooks Simple Start - 10:00 am - 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 16th, LCC Business Development Center, Eugene. For beginners who are interested in learning how to generate invoices, to write checks, and to generate income/expense reports.
QuickBooks Pro - 10:00 - 12:00 noon, Thursday, July 17th, LCC Business Development Center, Eugene. An in-depth look at using QuickBooks Pro to generate payroll and payroll checks and to buy and sell inventory using items.
Celebrate LMB's 10th anniversary with a dinner party - September 19th, Eugene
Set aside the evening of Friday, September 19th for a fun-filled 10th anniversary celebration of Lane MicroBusiness. We'll be offering up a dinner plus unveiling our new website, new programs, and our first ever annual report.
You'll have a great opportunity to network and meet friends and acquaintances that you have not seen in the past year. We only have space for 100 people and we expect to fill up. LMB has a popular small business grant program which can provides upwards of $4,000 of equity capital to help your business. We have a loan program for individuals who need a quick infusion of capital funds.
